Annual Tulip Festival a Huge Success!

Well, another Mother’s Day has come and gone, and I hope you had as much fun as my family did at the 5th Annual Tulip Festival & Mother’s Day Celebration that was held last Sunday at Honor’s Haven Resort & Spa in Ellenville, NY.

There was a fantastic energy in the air that just seemed to embrace the over 500 people who attended this amazing event, and I have to admit, shopping the nearly 40 vendors that were in attendance was an absolute treat.  We walked away with jewelry, wine mixers, beef jerky for my husband, and a marionette for my youngest.

The Mother’s Day Lunch Buffet, which featured live music, buzzed with ambitious appetites and even bigger smiles. According to Peter R. from Pearl River, NY, “The chicken and shrimp were so delicious!! My Mother loved it!” 
Another guest, Valerie Broderick, who had traveled all the way from Hardyston, NJ mentioned that she has attended the festival a few times now.  “The food and service are always exceptional, and Tim Gysin [the piano player] brings a certain je ne sais quoi to the lunch that makes it well worth the one and a half hour drive”, said Broderick. 
Rounding out the afternoon was a spectacular two hour jazz performance by James Martocci & The Jimmie Jazz Band.

According to the resort’s General Manager, Julian Lee, “The festival was a huge success.  We continue to be inspired by the families that celebrate this very special holiday with us, and look forward to making many more lasting memories with them in the years to come.”

The 2016 Tulip Festival & Mother’s Day Celebration is already in the works, and rumor has it, it will include the sounds of “Sinatra”.  Hope to see you there!
