Honor’s Haven Resort & Spa to Host Fran’s Polka Weekend

Fall is right around the corner, which means Honor’s Haven Resort & Spa is gearing up and getting excited about hosting Fran’s Polka Weekend; September 26-28, 2014.

Celebrating its 28^th year, this weekend-long party will provide participants with the opportunity to listen and dance to a variety of music.  Offering traditional polka as well as a mix of international and popular dance beats like the Jitter Bug and Cha Cha, visitors will find themselves captivated by 25-hours of sensational music!

“It does my heart good to share the happiest music on earth.” says Fran Fierst, Event Coordinator for Fran’s Polka Weekend.  “Polka just feels good.  When the band starts playing, your toes start tapping and before you know it, you’re out on the dance floor!”

The weekend’s lineup will include five bands (The Polka Family Band, The Eddie Forman Orchestra, Dennis Polisky & the Maestro’s Men, John Seven’s Doubleshot and the O’Such Rhythm & Music Band) as well as DJ Bruce in the Zephyr Lounge. 

Other features to enjoy throughout the weekend will include gourmet meals (comprised of American cuisine with a smattering of polish dishes), welcome party, open bar, Saturday evening cocktail party, Bloody Mary & Screwdriver wake-up party, hoagie party with beer and soda, ice cream sundae party, after dinner cordials and a Polka worship service.
