The winners of the 3rd
Annual Tulip Festival & Mother’s Day Celebration Photo Contest, hosted by
Honor’s Haven Resort & Spa, have been selected. This year’s contest received
a total of ten entries; all of which captured the true essence of the day’s
events.
Judging was based on the
ability to capture and highlight the spirit of Mother’s Day, Spring Time and
the Festival, which took place on Sunday, May 12, 2013 at Honor’s Haven Resort
& Spa. A total of two photos were selected; third place as well as
the honorable mention category was omitted due to a shortage of entries.
Christine Schukow of Ellenville, NY received First Place honors with
her image “Tulips”. Second place was awarded to Heather Whamond of
East Hartford, CT with “Surveying the Lay of the Land”.

This year’s winners were
awarded with gift certificates valid for a weekend stay for two at Honor’s
Haven Resort & Spa; second place in Executive Accommodations and first
place in Suite Accommodations!
Ms. Schukow’s first place
entry will also be showcased on the Resort’s website for the remainder of the
year.
